Tips for maintaining sirui lens

Attention should be paid to moisture prevention, cleaning, and storage environment for the maintenance of sirui lens. The following are key maintenance techniques:
Cleaning and maintenance steps
Dust removal treatment: Use electric air blowing (such as high-power motor models) to remove surface dust and avoid directly wiping and scratching the lens.  ‌
Stain cleaning: For stubborn stains, first use a soft bristled brush to clean them, then use a lens pen (center outwards spiral wiping) or a special wet wipe to clean in circles, ensuring one-way wiping.  ‌
Coating protection: Avoid using chemical solvents such as alcohol. It is recommended to use Zeiss lens cleaning wipes (including wood pulp fibers) to wipe and prevent residual rainbow patterns.  ‌
Storage environment control
Moisture proof measures: It is recommended to use moisture-proof cabinets (such as the SIRUI HC-70 model) in humid areas of the south, with built-in tempered glass doors and rubber seals, which can adjust temperature and humidity and prevent dust.  ‌
Storage requirements: The lens should be placed in a camera bag or protective cover to avoid direct exposure to dust or humid environments. Long term storage requires regular electrical dehumidification.
