Fishing: Chill and Earn
Fishing is the most AFK-friendly of RuneScape gold the three and can be very profitable at high levels. Early levels are slow, but it becomes a gold mine when you unlock premium fish like Lobsters, Sharks, and Monkfish.

Best Fishing Methods:
Shrimp/Anchovies (Level 1–20): For early XP.

Trout/Salmon (Level 20–40): Fast XP at Barbarian Village.

Lobsters (Level 40+): First decent GP method, popular F2P method too.

Swordfish/Tuna (Level 50+): Moderate profit.

Monkfish (Level 62+): Great gold and XP per hour.

Sharks (Level 76+): High GP per catch, but slower.

Gold Potential:
Lobsters: ~100–200k GP/hour.

Monkfish: ~300–500k GP/hour.

Sharks: ~400–700k GP/hour depending on price.

Bonus Tips:
Unlock Fishing Trawler to get the Angler Outfit for an XP boost.

Combine with Cooking to sell cooked fish if the profit margin is better.

AFK Fishing while multitasking or Old School Runescape Items watching videos makes it a low-effort grind.
