5.1 Step-by-Step to Building a Spell
Open the Spellcrafting Interface.

Choose an available Catalyst.

Assign an Infusion—the spell now deals elemental damage.

Apply an Arcana to add unique utility or effects.

Preview the description.

Craft to consume the materials.

Assign it to your action bar, replacing or augmenting a slot.

You can create and equip up to several Horadric Spells—as long as you have space and component availability.

5.2 Equipping Horadric Jewels
Open the Jewels Tab.

See all socketable items (both crafted and found).

Drag Jewels into available gear sockets.

If you meet Arcana thresholds, bonus scaling activates.

Re-socket anytime—you can switch Jewels outside of combat.

Section 6: Growth, Upgrades & Mastery
6.1 Spell Ranks & Experience
Horadric Spells may rank up based on:

Spells cast or enemies hit.

Damage dealt thresholds.

Spell-specific feats (like using Unstoppable for X casts).

Ranking up improves damage, area, duration, or other stats.

6.2 Upgrading Your Components
Higher-tier components are crucial. To find them:

Focus on Nightmare Dungeons, Helltides, and Seasonal Objectives.

Farm higher chapters in Codex—better rewards await.

Team up for co-op—some components only drop at high-level or Diablo 4 materials group difficulty.
