Barn Finds in Forza Horizon 6 are built around exploration, not just lucky driving. You won't simply cruise past a shed and get a free classic straight away. The game ties these discoveries to the Discover Japan Collection Journal, so the more stamps you earn, the more rumours start to open up. You'll want to treat Barn Finds as a side goal while doing normal map progress. Stories are usually the quickest push, but don't ignore street races, touge runs, photo spots, food deliveries, mascot tasks, Drift Club events, day trips, and collection goals. A simple route helps a lot.

The barns are spread across Japan, so don't expect one neat loop. Ohtani holds the NSX-R GT near a river valley, the Porsche in bamboo woodland, and the R390 GT1 near the Shimanoyama border. Ito is busier, with the Toyota 2000GT close to the coast, the Sierra on a wooded hill, the Diablo near a three-way junction, and the Skyline Super Silhouette on a southwest dirt path. Nangan has the Skyline 2000GT-R beyond a residential road, while Minamino hides the Nissan Pao off a western forest trail. Hokubu's Lincoln sits in central woodland. Takashiro covers the Pennzoil GT-R and Mazda 787B, and Shimanoyama keeps the Peugeot, Montero Evolution, and Lancer Time Attack tucked around dirt climbs, drift roads, and ridge paths.

Restoration and map help

Finding the barn is only half the job. After discovery, the car goes away for restoration, and you'll wait unless you pay to speed things up. The Treasure Map can show locations, but it doesn't replace stamp progress, which catches some players out. If you're short on money, don't rush every repair.
