Born in Poland and later moving to Canada in 1989, Greg grew up in Hamilton, Ontario, where he eventually earned a diploma in Web Applications – Computer Systems Technician from Mohawk College. Today, he dedicates his time to helping people who need balance recovery support.
After undergoing a brain cyst operation that severely impacted his balance, Greg found himself spending much of his time in a wheelchair. He understands firsthand the frustration, pain, and helplessness that can come with such a challenge. Yet, with determination and self-belief, he worked tirelessly to relearn to walk and regain control over his life. His experience inspired the creation of I Will Be Walking, a platform dedicated to encouraging others who are facing similar struggles.
Greg specializes in proven physical techniques and exercises to relearn walking. These methods focus not only on improving mobility but also on answering the vital question many people ask: how do I recover my balance? Through his approach, he helps individuals regain strength, stability, and the courage to keep moving forward.
His award-winning book, Getting Out: My Story Plus The Exercises And Experience I Learned That Can Help You Get Out From The Wheelchair, shares his personal journey alongside practical exercises that can make a real difference. This inspiring work offers hope to those facing mobility challenges and serves as a guide to those determined to walk again.
Beyond his professional mission, Greg lives a full and meaningful life. He enjoys spending time with his beloved dog Roxy, cherishes his daughter from a previous marriage, and takes pleasure in reading, writing, learning computer repair, exercising, and relaxing with Netflix.
Greg’s greatest ambition remains to fully recover and share his knowledge with others. Through I Will Be Walking, he continues to prove that with persistence, the dream of walking again can become a reality, inspiring countless people along the way.
