Sarat's Lair is found in the The Downs subregion of Scosglen. Scosglen itself is a coastal region, teeming with dangerous wildlife and treacherous terrain, and Sarat's Lair is no exception. This subregion is situated adjacent to Cerrigar, another area with its own dungeon challenges.

Within The Downs, you’ll encounter two dungeons: Sarat’s Lair and another unnamed location. Sarat’s Lair is the more notorious of the two, especially for its confusing and winding corridors filled with deadly spiders and thorn beasts.

Sarat's Lair features a labyrinth-style design, where the narrow corridors can make navigation a bit tricky. The dungeon has no split paths, but you'll still need to be vigilant about getting lost due to the maze-like structure. Keep a close eye on your map to track your progress and make sure you’re heading in the right direction.

As you move through the dungeon, you’ll face a variety of spider-based enemies, as well as thorn beasts that can catch you off guard if you're not careful. It's important to deal with these enemies immediately to avoid being overwhelmed. If you let them swarm you, it can lead to trouble.

Key Objective: Destroy the Silken Spires
The primary objective in Sarat’s Lair is to destroy the Silken Spires. These towering structures emit poisonous AoE attacks that can deal significant damage if left unchecked. The spires are relatively easy to dodge, as they don’t have precise targeting, but they can still cause chaos if ignored.

Strategy: Approach the spires and destroy them before their health reaches a critical point. Once you reduce their HP, they will summon an elite monster to challenge you. Be prepared to deal with these elites and their adds once the spires break.

After breaking all the spires, the boss room will be unlocked. Be cautious as you make your way there, as the dungeon can be easy to get lost in. Make sure you use your map frequently to avoid confusion and make sure you're on the right path.

Sarat's Lair Boss: Sarat
The final boss of Sarat’s Lair is Sarat, a massive spider who is capable of summoning additional spider minions, complicating the fight further. Much like the Broodguard boss in the Defiled Catacombs (Fractured Peaks), Sarat uses a combination of summoned spider hosts, poison AoEs, and web traps to D4 Gold overwhelm players.
