Our mission is to redefine the role of valves in industrial applications by focusing on the core factor that determines their reliability—sealing performance.

Recognizing that large-scale machining is no longer the main challenge in China’s valve industry, we have turned our attention to the mechanical behavior of non-metallic materials, advanced coating technologies for sealing components, and the friction and wear mechanisms that influence long-term durability. These often-overlooked aspects are the true bottlenecks in achieving consistently high-performance valve systems.

Our multidisciplinary team—comprising nuclear-grade sealing engineers, valve specialists, materials scientists, and electromechanical engineers—bridges academic research and industrial application. In collaboration with renowned institutions such as Lanzhou University of Technology’s National Key Friction Laboratory, Ningbo Institute of Materials, East China University of Science and Technology, and the Shanghai Institute of Ceramics, we have conducted extensive research into low-leakage graphite sealing technologies and systematically addressed the root causes of sealing failure.

Backed by rigorous testing and authoritative third-party validation, Magpie Valve holds multiple internationally recognized certifications, including API 622, API 624, API 641, ISO 15848-1, TA-LUFT, and ISO 15848-1 CC3. To date, we have tested nearly 500 valve products—from gate and globe valves to ball valves—under extreme conditions ranging from 400°C to -196°C and pressures up to Class 2500 LB.
